Privacy Policy - JOURNAL, Personal Diary
Last updated: 12/05/2024
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
JOURNAL, Personal Diary takes your privacy seriously. We do not collect any personal data; your diary entries remain fully under your control.
Information Stored Locally
All your diary entries, including text, images, and mood data, are stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit or store your entries on any external server.
Optional Google Drive Backup
We offer an optional backup feature using Google Drive. For this to work, the app requires the "drive.file" permission, allowing it to see your email address. This is necessary for identifying your Google account for backup purposes.
This feature allows the upload of a single backup file of your database to your Google Drive account. The app allows to: upload, restore and delete the backup on your Drive folder. The app doesn't and can't read or delete other files in your account.
Your backup files are stored solely within your own Google Drive. No data, neither the email, is sent to our servers.
Limited Use Disclosure
JOURNAL, Personal Diary's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
